From the Rome "Fiumicino" airport, ride the "Leonardo Express" train that takes about 35 minutes to get to the Rome Termini train station. From here, continue as described in "by train". In alternative, take a taxi (40€ fee set by the Town of Rome) or ask for shuttle service at the desk.
Once in Rome, after the toll take the Salaria exit and follow the signs for the city center. Drive down Via Salaria for about 10 km to the intersection with Via Pinciana. Turn down this street, hugging Villa Borghese for about 1 km. Leave your car at the Porta Pinciana parking lot and take the escalator to the subway stop and Piazza di Spagna. Via del Corso is close to the subway stop that takes you Rome's most famous sites in a jiffy: the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Barberini, the Fori Imperiali and the ancient Roman arena, the Colosseum; Piazza Navona – the pinnacle of Baroque crowned by the Fountain of Four Rivers - Campo de’ Fiori and the trattorias in Trastevere are also easy to reach and popular with Hotel del Corso guests.
